She has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, which has metastasized to both lymph nodes & bones. The cancer has caused significant damage to the bone structure in her left shoulder. If chemotherapy is successfully, the cancer mass will shrink, and the damage to her shoulder done by the cancer may require a shoulder replacement surgery to address the extensive bone damage & regain the structure and function of her arm.
Alice and her family are facing an incredibly challenging road ahead of them, and this will require ongoing care & treatment. Alice is incredibly strong; however, the emotional, physical, and financial burden of this battle can be extremely overwhelming. We want to do all we can to ensure she can focus on what truly matters—spending time with her loved ones, making memories, and receiving the best care possible.
