Before and after: The cancer has shrunk significantly! There are only three more spots left.  One in the breast, one in the armpit and one in the shoulder.  They are suggesting 3 more treatments.  One of which I had done today. The Dr said this will give me a very long remission.  I am praying it will be for a lifetime.  All glory to God! He is amazingly wonderful! Read.

From Alice: I had my 3rd round of chemo today. All went well. The Dr said the tumor in my breast went from 8cm to 4cm!  We will do another PET scan just before the 4th round of chemo to see where we are at. I’m so grateful for the Dr and nurses and for the chemo and other meds that are assisting in eliminating the cancer.  I am continuing to learn how to navigate through the symptoms as they show up from chemo, and I have more range of motion in my arm and shoulders, so that’s good! Alice’s hair has been falling out due to the chemo, so she had fun trying on all sorts of new hair styles, before choosing the most ideal…and she’s rockn’ it with her Hubby! Read.

Alice has definitely been feeling the effects of chemotherapy, though each day the symptoms seem to ease a little. She was gifted a Chemo Comfort Care basket by several wonderful women in her life, filled with items to help alleviate the side effects of treatment. Over the last few weeks, people have come together in fasting, prayer, and so much positivity for Alice.  Her family and friends gathered together for an abundant dinner last week to celebrate the beautiful life God gives us. Alice continually expresses her appreciation, and she feels so blessed to have felt the Comforting Spirit come over her, reminding her that God is in control & filling her with peace. At this time, Alice has very limited mobility in her left arm & shoulder, making it a challenge to do the things she loves & getting a full nights sleep. This doesn’t seem to phase her though, she carries on each day with a smile. At night when she is woken up by her arm hurting, she takes that time to pray for others and herself until God grants her with more rest. Each morning, despite the interrupted sleep, she wakes feeling refreshed & thanks God for blessing her with a great nights sleep. Processing through all the significant changes… Read.
