Alice has definitely been feeling the effects of chemotherapy, though each day the symptoms seem to ease a little. She was gifted a Chemo Comfort Care basket by several wonderful women in her life, filled with items to help alleviate the side effects of treatment. Alice has continued to express her deep gratitude for each item and how they’ve helped her during this time. ❤️🙏
The past few days have presented a new set of challenges. Alice and her husband Dan both came down with the flu. Alice’s fever persisted for several days and quickly developed into pneumonia, requiring a visit to InstaCare. Thankfully, she was sent home with antibiotics and oxygen. Despite being sick himself, Dan has been taking care of her with unwavering dedication, always by her side as a loyal and gentle companion.
Please add to your prayers, that Alice’s intelligent and beautiful body, the gift God has given her, will continue to support her through this challenge and restore her lungs and body to full health and strength. We are incredibly grateful for the way her immune system has been working so well to fight the additional infection.
